The Alpenhof is a boutique hotel located slopeside in Teton Village. Built in the 1960s, the hotel remains true to its original Tyrolean architecture and interior decor.
Faced with competition from many new hotels, the owners realized that they needed to renew the brand in order to differentiate the Alpenhof from these newer properties, and increase market share in this competitive environment. They also needed to bring relevance to a nearly forgotten time, place and style.
Working alongside the leadership team, Portis Group collaborated with the Alpenhof to reconnect their tired brand to a more contemporary audience and to create a communication strategy that reflected the hotel in a truly authentic way. With high quality captivating imagery and compelling copywriting, Portis Group designed a brochure that illustrates a warm, comfortable hotel experience. The pairing of contemporary typography with interior photographs of classic Tyrolean elements echoes the renewed Alpenhof brand. This new visual style and messaging was then applied to an advertising campaign and other marketing materials.
